Story behind Zero Nexus?

Hi guys. I just finished listening to Zero Nexus, and after reading the lyrics I couldn't help but feel like there was a story of some kind behind it all. I know that it is a concept album, but I was wondering if perhaps the band members could shed some light on what exactly the concept is. Some of the most confusing lyrics are all the references to serpents, the serpent-angel (whatever that is), and the lyrics "the inner peace, the awareness that the work has now been completed for this part of the path". What work, and what path? It's just that I'm a pretty curious individual and I like horror stories and stuff, and this seems like it would make a GREAT horror story Thanks,

Later edit: I just watched the serpent angel video, and it raised even more questions. What was that totem pole-ish thing the bald guy was on before he burned?
